May 27, 2014- One Year Ago

How did you feel a year ago? Tomorrow write about how you feel now.


A year ago I was feeling pretty good. I was slowing down with the therapy I had been taking to help with my anxiety and depression. I was slowing down because I was doing well. Also, the antidepressant medication I had began taking a few months earlier was finally starting to kick in. I was starting to feel like myself again.

A year ago I was also a few months into writing my blog. I was feeling like I was meant to write it and helping others. This was due to the overwhelming response I was getting and feedback from family, friends, and strangers. This was motivation to keep doing well and moving forward.

I wouldn't say a year ago I was 100%, but I was definitely feeling better than I had in almost 2 years. I felt a new sense of hope and excitement. For the first time in awhile I was excited for the future. I was seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
