My favorite planet is Neptune. One reason is because it is such a pretty blue color and since blue is one of my favorite colors, I am drawn to it. The other reason Neptune is my favorite is because Greek mythology is a love of mine. Neptune was the Roman name for the Greek God Poseidon. Poseidon is the God of the sea and since my favorite place in the world is the beach I can appreciate the sea. Also, my favorite movie as a child was The Little Mermaid, and Ariel's dad King Triton is based off the story of Poseidon.
